Period of assignment: 2 working days in May, 2012

I. Background:
Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA) and Chamber of Commerce of Sarajevo Canton (PKKS) are implementing a joint project “Development of tourist Itinerary for the Cross-border region between BiH and MNE” funded by EU through the Instrument for Pre Accession Assistance (IPA) Cross Border Cooperation Programme Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro, Component II, allocations for 2007 and 2008.
Overall objective of the Project is cross-border economic development with the focus on tourism and rural development. Specific objectives are creation and promotion of joint tourism offer through establishment of cross-border tourist itinerary of the BiH-MNE, exchange of people and goods in cross border region of BiH and MNE, increased export and increased number of national branded products in both countries.
Among the rest, the Project aims to create a joint tourism offer of the cross border region in a way to include producers of national products and cultural historical sites in the tourist itinerary, and to promote that offer through joint website and Tourism and Production Centres (TPC’s).
II. Duties and Responsibilities:
Objectives of the assignment:
As part of the education provided by the project, specialized 2 day workshop will be offered to tourism actors of both countries. The main aim of the workshop is to provide practical solutions for promotion of joint tourist offer of the cross border area. The first day of workshop will be delivered by one trainer specialized in the field of tourism. On the second day of the workshop, trainer will prepare written material on “,How to promote in the best possible way the joint tourist offer of the borderland between BiH and MNE – regional tourist itineraries, TP centers”, while field visits are planned for the workshop participants.
Job content:
Under direct supervision of the respective Project Manager selected trainer will prepare and deliver two-day workshop.
The expected results:
• Detailed workshop agenda;
• Power point presentations and handouts for participants
• Written material on “How to promote in the best possible way the joint tourist offer of the borderland between BiH and MNE – regional tourist itineraries, TP centers”.
To be approved by the Project Manager.
III. Competencies:
• Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude;
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrates ability to talk to large group and work under pressure, as well as to respond to feedbacks.
IV. Qualifications and expertise:
• University degree in Tourism, Economy or other related field;
• At least five years of active trainings experience in this field;
• Excellent social, communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent computer skills and ability to operate under pressure.
